We set up our mobile print studio at
2023 Midsummer Cultural Celebration at the Red Brick Center for the Arts in Aspen in partnership with Intersect Aspen and Aspen Chamber Resort Association. Featured Artist Abby Amdur and Shop Artist Savanna LaBauve guided visitors through printing their very own limited edition screen print on paper.

Thank you to the Red Brick Center for the Arts for having us!
and Abby for your beautiful work.

About the Design

This design was inspired by Aspen Intersect’s title, (Intersect), Colorado’s nature, and Amdur’s love for organic shapes and themes. The artists at the Project Shop in Carbondale, CO, discussed how to visualize the event’s ability to bring together creative minds and places that support creativity. We wanted to create a simple design that felt natural and spontaneous. It also incorporates an interactive component that allows the participants to print and keep it as a poster or cut them out to create two hanging paper-folded ornaments.

Meet the Artist

Abby Amdur, born in San Francisco and raised in Carbondale, committed to an art practice at an early age; in 8th grade she decided to leave home to attend Interlochen Arts Academy. Recently graduated, Amdur continues her arts education in fine art and printmaking at the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY. Her main medium consists of printmaking and its ability to make stylized and bold linework to help explore her interest in nature and feminist themes.

Abby is also an upcoming

And you, dear members of our community never know what goodness you will receive to share with the world. Your support allows us to empower these young, emerging and curious artists to share their voices through tangible and quality limited edition print goods.
